Using this feature is quick and easy. Anytime you Shazam a song or search for an artist, you will receive information about upcoming concerts. In addition, you can easily purchase tickets by clicking the link where you’ll be redirected to view the tickets currently on sale. You can also search for concert information without having to Shazam a song. You can see more tour dates, times, and locations if you search for a specific artist’s Shazam page.

What Can This Feature Do?

Powered by Bandsintown, Shazam can bring more discoverability to artists by listing concert information. When users tap on a concert, they’ll receive additional tour information, share show details, and add events to their calendars. In addition, artists will also gain plenty of insights. Artists can get insights with Apple Music and Shazam audience insights through Apple Music for Artists. Artists can also upload all their touring information through Bandsintown and link it to their Apple for Artists account. This platform has a long history of connecting artists and fans and being innovative. This concert discovery feature is available on the Shazam app, IOS and Android, and the website.

In recent news, Shazam has also attempted to give credit where credit is due. Its technology searches through DJ mixes to pay all rights holders of the songs featured in the mix.
